We come up as the Tea Merchants of Kashmir Since 1968, started from a single store in early 1970’s to become one  of the biggest suppliers of Teas, Spices, Dry fruits and Saffron to the Kashmir valley in a B2B business model, covering the major market share. Our aim is to empower Kashmir by promoting and preserving the Kashmiri products and culture by our small acts, we wish to see Kashmiri chai globally accepted and available.

SOURCING | PROCESSING | BLENDING | PROCESSING LEAVES

We procure our Green teas from the prestigious Best Indian  tea estates, located in Darjeeling, Assam, Siliguri  nestled in the lap of Himalayan mountain range. Our black tea leaves are sourced from estates situated on the south bank of the Brahmaputra River, in Assam,  depending on their sizes. A double cone blender prepares a homogeneous blend of natural raw herbs with the finest quality of orthodox tea leaves. Finally, this blend of herbs & tea leaves is packed in pouches for labeling. Our herbal blends are 100% natural & do not contain any artificial flavoring, extracts, scenting or coloring. Further, each of the ingredients is tested for pesticides, aflatoxins & heavy metals to ensure product safety. Once sourced, the tea leaves are withered for about 8-24 hours. Once dry, they are steamed to prevent neutralization of enzymes & oxidation. This enables the leaves to retain their authentic green color & remain enriched with antioxidants & polyphenols. After this they are rolled to different degrees & dried again. Then they are dried in large mechanical dryers on conveyor belts at high temperatures to eliminate moisture. Finally, various grades of tea leaves are separated
